As a licensed member of the Engineering Council, we are able to offer our members the free use of the Engineering Council’s CPD recording software, which enables the effective management and recording of career development. This is a crucial aim of IExpE which is supported by our policies and practices targeted at advancing our member’s professional standing and career opportunities.
mycareerpath Professional Development (PD) software is an online tool for engineers and technicians to plan, evaluate and record their PD. With mycareerpath, users can record activities and experience that contribute to their PD and build up a body of evidence that can be updated, printed, and sent to colleagues or Institutions for online review and comments.
mycareerpath is also used to complete the annual CPD audit, for which Professional Registration registrants may be selected. Failure to comply with the audit requirements could result in registrants being removed from the EngCouncil Register.

mycareerpath is owned by the EngCouncil and is aligned with the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UKSpec) for EngTech, IEng, and CEng. Members are able to measure and track their progress against the competence statements for the category of registration they are working towards, making mycareerpath a vital tool in the journey towards becoming professionally registered, and beyond in continuing to record their CPD.
