IExpE Guidance

The IExpE Guidance Series is a set of eight volumes setting out how explosives work in the United Kingdom should be managed and carried out safely, lawfully and to a standard that can be evidenced. It is written for the people who commission explosives work, the people who supervise it and the people who do it, and it follows a single thread from the law, through the way the work is controlled, to the records that show it was done correctly.

Volume 1 covers the management of all explosives work.

Volumes 2 to 8 each take one sector and give practical guidance to the people doing the work. Each show how the work is run both in-house and through a subcontracted specialist.

The series is currently being finalised. Details of availability will be published on this page.
