How do I apply?

What happens after you have submitted an application?

1. Administrative checks.
2. Application is submitted into a Review Panel.
3. Professional Review Interview – if applicable.
4. JRB Board approval.
5. Make payment of New Registrant & Annual Subscription Fee.
6. Approval by the Engineering Council.
7. Applicant becomes registered and can now use post nominals (CEng, IEng or EngTech).

What are the costs of submitting an application and maintaining my registration?

Application Fee – This is payable when you submit your details via the IExpE website.

New Registration & Annual Fee Once your application has been approved the new registration and annual fee will be payable.

Annual Fee In order to maintain your Engineering Council registration the annual fee is payable in January each year.

Your Engineering Council is subject to you being a current IExpE member.  Should you not renew your IExpE membership your Engineering Council registration will also lapse.
